College Accounting

Mar 20 - Chapter 7 Inventories. Test will be Wed March 25 and Thurs March 26. Please keep up with your reading its going to be fast and furious!

Mar 3rd - Watch all 6 youtube lectures on Financial Accounting Merchandising Operations. And get ready for your quarterly!!!


Feb 22 - Chapter 5 vocab quizzes have been moved to March. We NEED to finish chapter 6 in one week! Expect insanity. This will be a very quick chapter. And you will need to do a lot of work at home.

Feb 9 - Chapter 5 vocab quiz is 2/11 the first 5 words of the key terms!

Feb 6 - Chapter 5 test is Thursday 2/12 and Friday 2/13.

Jan 31- Chapter 5 Please read we will go through this very quickly!

Jan 8th - Check the workbook site for Vocab and Quiz practice. The more practice you have with the multiple choice questions the better you will do! Chapters 4,5, and 6 will be very quick stay up on your reading.

Dec 8th - Chapter 3 test before break, quarterly after break

Dec 2nd - Start chapter 3 go to College Accounting folder on the Assignment drive. and do slides 1-10 PE 3-1A and PE 3-1B

Nov 24 - Extra Credit problems are due on Tuesday November 25 PR 2-1B, PR2-2B, BR-2-3B (IN YOUR TEXTBOOK)

Nov 17 - TEST CHAPTER 2 Monday and Tuesday

Nov 10 - PR 2-1A, PR2-2A, PR2-3A Extra Credit problems will be PR 2-1B and PR 2-2B

Nov 1 - Chapter 2 Jim's Lawn Care T - Accounts. We will be focusing on the completing the PE, EX, and PR problems in the work book. TEST to follow 11/13 and 11/14.

Oct 27 - Extra Credit problems are due 10/31 for Chapter 1 PR 1-1B, PR 1-3B and PR 1-4B

Oct 20 - Business Olympics Team names due today. Chapter 2 read. We started notes. Keep Jim's Lawn care handy.

Oct 14th - Sign up for college credit - 3 credits for only $120 see Mrs. Wood for a form. Forms are due by FRIDAY 10/17














Oct 10 th - Start reading Chapter 2 -Extra Credit assignments for Chapter 1 are PR1-1B, PR1-3B, PR1-4B due by Oct 31.

Oct 6th - Test on Chapter 1 10/7 & 10/8 have an index card with your financial statements on it (I,OE,B)

Sept 29th - Pr 1-1A, Pr 1-2A and Pr 1-3A in class. Homework assignment on FRIDAY 10/3 Pr 1-2B (IN YOUR TEXT BOOK) Due and graded on MONDAY 10/6. TEST on CHAPTER 1 is SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY 10/7 and WEDNESDAY 10/8 (unless changed)

Sept 22nd - Chapter 1 problems will be worked on in class make sure you have your workbook pages with you at all times. And please keep Jim's Lawn Care we will use it again in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.

Sept 15th - Start reading chapter 1 in your textbooks. Please leave the textbooks at home in a safe place. You will be required to keep up with the reading at your own pace.

Sept. 8th- You should have handed in your code of conduct and your course outline signed by you and a parent or guardian. In addition you should have a notebook, folder, calculator and a writing utensil available for you to use each day in class.

Finally check out the link to our textbook once the numbers are finalized in the class I'll hand out textbooks and workbooks. We are using the 22nd edition. College Accounting Textbook

Sept. 3rd - Welcome Back. Have all paper work signed and returned to class by September 10th.
